Checker
Etsy listing image checker
Etsy shows your image to buyers rather than printing it, so the rules run the other way round. This checks a file against what Etsy actually publishes.
Batch, auto-fix and exports
Everything above is free for one file at a time, and always will be. Doing it to a whole folder — batch checking up to 100 files, one zip with every platform file for every design, and a CSV report — is part of Seller.
Exports are padded and centred to each platform's size on a transparent canvas. Nothing is ever upscaled — a file enlarged to pass a dimension check still prints soft, which is the failure this tool exists to prevent.

Why there is no DPI figure here
DPI describes how densely ink is laid on a physical surface. A listing photo is never printed — it is displayed on a screen at whatever size the layout gives it. What matters instead is the pixel count, because Etsy crops and compresses, and a small image has nothing to give back. The DPI tag inside the file is ignored by everyone in this chain.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use the same file for printing and for the listing photo?
Almost never. The print file is a transparent PNG at print resolution; the listing photo must have no transparency, should be landscape or square, and should stay under 1 MB. Use the print file to generate a mockup, then upload the mockup.
Do I need an account to check a file?
No. The whole check runs in your browser — no account, no upload.
